Streaming Xbox One to Windows 10 laptop stopped working

Hey all, hoping to get some help on this issue. Early last week I got to try out the xbox one streaming and it was awesome! However a few days later I tried to do it again but it for some reason, won't connect to my xbox. Here is my setup currently:

Xbox One using wireless networking (2.4 Ghz)

Windows 10 laptop on wireless (2.4 Ghz)

Verizon Fios Quantum Wireless router

At first I checked the network settings on the xbox one and noticed that NAT was set to Strict (mind you, it was working with that). So I went into my router and made the change to get the NAT settings to Open. Still didn't work. I ran updates on my Windows
10 laptop, I signed out and signed back into the Xbox app on the laptop, nothing works. And the weirdest thing? Through the xbox app on my laptop, I can turn on my xbox, I can watch it turn it on no problem. But after that, it says that it can't find the
device.

Any ideas? Much appreciated in advanced!

Xbox app no sound

I have been streaming games from my Xbox one to my windows 10 laptop I have never had any problems until today the first problem was the party chat had stopped working (the sound was not coming through from the other people in the party) then
after rebooting the app there was no sound coming from the stream. Can you help me?

 

Streaming to Windows 10 broken

After the recent updates to Xbox one and windows 10 streaming from Xbox one to Windows 10 stopped working. The Xbox application cannot connect to the Xbox even when the IP address is given. I have tried restating everything, making sure they both are on
the same network etc. nothing works to fix the issue. It used to work great now it is broken.

Try power cycling your console by holding the power button for 10 seconds or until it turns off. Boot it back up, then go to the Xbox App, click Add a Device (even though it is already listed), re-add the Xbox One, then try connecting again.

 

I haven't tried to hold the power button down for 10 seconds yet so I'll try that. But when I tried to re-add the device via the IP address, it said it couldn't find it. But I'll try that and let you know, thanks!

 

Just an update:

So I powered down the xbox one while holding the button for 10 seconds. After turning it back on, it worked! Thanks a lot!
