    Streaming Xbox One To Twitch Help!


    Just a quick one regarding XB1 & Twitch.

    I know the Xbox one has a built in DVR but it only captures 720p @ 30fps regardless of the native input...

    If i was to buy a better DVR for the XB1, capable of 1080p @ 60fps. ...

    A) Would it bypass the XB1's built in DVR and become the primary DVR?

    B) Would i need to link it up to a powerful PC or would i simply be able to broadcast to twitch with it connected to the console via the twitch app? (I have a feeling this option would only available by using the XB1's DVR and not a third party DVR.

    I've not tried broadcasting yet with the XB1, but it is something i would like to try and know sooner rather than later a DVR capable of 1080p and 60fps would be needed if i were to continue. I'm certain my PC would not be able to deal streaming as i've
    seen some of the current twitch broadcasters setups and they are super-spec PCs!

    Any input appreciated.

    Can't stream. Twitch says I'm offline, Xbox says I am.

    The Twitch app on Xbox One says I'm streaming. Clearly that's not true as the Twitch page says I'm not. Help.

    Then why is there a Twitch app? If Microsoft were so hell bent to only support Mixer, there wouldn't be a Twitch App. And yet, you can still stream to Twitch.

    It's really up to YouTube to get a working streaming app on the Xbox One.

    So please suggest to YouTube to create a Xbox One streaming app.
