Streaming Windows 10 games onto Xbox One Discussion

Hello Fellow XbOne Gamers Streaming Windows 10 games onto Xbox One Discussion :),

Some of you may or may not be aware of the ability to stream Xbox One games to Windows 10. I am however interested in doing the other way around, streaming windows games to xbox. Steam has a device coming called the Steam Link, Sony has a solution for Playstation
4 where you can bring your PS4 gaming onto a PS Vita or a PS TV... and the list grows with companies like NVidea etc etc etc.... !!!! WE don't have a solution Streaming Windows 10 games onto Xbox One Discussion :( Put your Xbox games on a PC but I don't want to have to purchase a steam link device to do this.
From what I can find online, twitter, google, phil spencer tweets etc....apparently this is a feature that people want!

It was suggested from a verified official xbox support forum member, Misses Quinzel, that I get support from you guys about this idea! Please vote up! It HAS to go to the hot ideas it just HAS to!!!! Streaming Windows 10 games onto Xbox One Discussion :) It would be great to have the xbox as a device that
can stream to and from your PC and Surface Pro without needing the tens of different ways that PC offers already.

If you can go to https://xbox.uservoice.com/ and find my idea under "Stream Windows 10 games onto Xbox One", you may or may not find other people posting the same idea but they may just get put together....nonetheless....
find this idea and vote up please !!! : )

Let's make the Xbox One the true One and Only place to go for everything entertainment and gaming Streaming Windows 10 games onto Xbox One Discussion :)

i don't want to stream them, I want the game I buy to have a multi license (at no extra cost or maybe a small one) and be available on as many windows 10 devices as possible, using the same save information over all platforms.

Yes but let's be honest, some games will never move over to xbox one. The image I am trying to paint is for example being able to stream Anno 2205 or a speciality RTS game such as starcraft 2, stream it to the xbox and actually have the use of mouse and
keyboard to play said pc game.

Apparently though mouse support is still in the works but keyboard is already here. They are looking to make mouse and keyboard work for gaming though apparently.

I don't know how the streaming service has been developed, but my PC is still a better PC than my Xbox I am sure there needs to be a level of processing power for it to work, I am not convinced an xbox is powerfull enough to run a game that is to big to
be made ready for the xbox. Also if your wanting mouse and keyboard I really don't know why your wanting to stream to the xbox, when you will have a perfectly good PC that will do the job, the reason xbox streaming to a PC works for me, is the xbox is link
to the main TV in the living room, so if someone wants to watch TV I can't play the xbox, but PC's are stand alone so I really don't see the point.

I'm confused why would anyone want to stream a PC game to the One and then use a keyboard and mouse? What's the benefit in this? Genuine question??

@genchy and @enendaveyboy, the same reason why apparently Valve is releasing a device the size of your wallet called Steam Link that will let you pay your pc games on your big TV at home. Also the same reason why some people want to kick back and relax on
their couch and just play some good ol games.

also as for mouse and keyboard i mean it doesn't have to be supported thats fine. I just threw that in there thinking that we have keyboard support already so to implement mouse may not be difficult at all. the xbox is powerful enough to process all this.
your PC is processing the game and sending it out. what we have now is the xbox processing the game and sending it out. So not only is it processing something big but also has to send it out over wifi or ethernet so that seems like more work to be honest than
just simply accepting the signal send by a pc. Mind you a PC is processing games that may be more powerful than xbox I'll give you that however it would be easy for Microsoft Devs to figure out and put an option in place for us to adjust our settings on both
ends and make sure we can run games properly.

You can link any PC with HDMI out to a HDMI TV surely, why do you need a steam link box?

Also you can use Keyboard and mouse with a 3rd party device XIM4

If you kicking back on a sofa, how are you going to use a keyboard and mouse?

Is this something your wanting? Or something you think people are wanting?

I have the steam link preordered. I already have my gaming pc hooked up to the tv in the living room, I use my X1 controller to play games on it and a wireless keyboard for browsing. The steam link will go in the bedroom so I can go up and play Fallout if
the Mrs wants to watch TV downstairs.

"You can link any PC with HDMI out to a HDMI TV surely, why do you need a steam link box?"

Ask Valve that question. The suggestion I make is to keep Xbox as a competitive platform.

"Also you can use Keyboard and mouse with a 3rd party device XIM4"

Native support is better than having to pay extra and do extra work. I think people would appreciate just plugging in and it works.

"If you kicking back on a sofa, how are you going to use a keyboard and mouse?"

Well I would prefer that we have the games work however they need to work. just being able to play it in a much more relaxed position than sitting upright on a staples chair at a desk is enough.

"Is this something your wanting? Or something you think people are wanting?"

It's both something I want and others want. Check twitter for Phil Spencer response that this feature I speak of about streaming is apparently..apparently..being worked on but for that to work mouse and keyboard support needs to be achieved but all of this
is according to him apparently being worked on. However I want it to be official not something they are testing as a proof of concept in a lab.

If I have to ask Value, then it says you don't know the answer and its not really that important, as I stated I would prefer multi platform support, and yes I can explain why I would prefer over streaming PC to Xbox if I need to.
