Streaming problems

So i have tried to stream repeatedly from my xbox and made sure all the required settings were where they were supposed to be but it still says i need to change that setting and that it cant stream after i make sure its in the correct setting and is allowed
but still gives me that error, how do i fix that?

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this while watching Hulu plus or netflix but sometimes when I'm watching either one randomly the screen will freeze for about a minute then the entire console will shut off. This happens about once for every 3
streaming hours, so it's not that big a deal except when playing a game because if I didn't save I lose everything past the last save. This does not happen with my 360

Is anyone else dealing with this or have a reason?

Take it back sounds like there is something wrong with it...have you tried a hard reboot on the console?? if that didnt work i would take it back for sure.

 

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

Have you tried a full power cycle of both your Xbox as well as your modem / router? Honestly that would likely fix it. Give it a shot and let us know, and we can go from there with troubleshooting

 

its still giving me the broadcasting error about my xbox live settings not being correct than saying i need to try again later

I dont have a wireless problem my settings are saying that they are not what they need to be even tho i have changed them in the "Xbox live privacy settings"

ok so i went to xbox.com and went to my privacy settings and it will not change, everytime i try to change it, it gives a unexpected error has occured and wont change it

 

try waiting a while and see if you still receive the error. If you do, you can try the Xbox app, a different browser and clearing your cookies and cache on the first browser and any others that give the error.

Hopefully you will find a fix for this issue soon.

 

I waited for a little and it still hasnt fixed the problem, xbox.com also will not let me sign in even after multiple resets and restarts of my laptop, and my broadcasting setting is still stuck on blocked

 

Hey bud there's 2 options to change your settings there's Xbox live privacy and app privacy. If you didn't go into the app privacy, you need to go in there to allow apps like twitch and mixer and stuff like that if your streaming from an app. Try going
into App privacy instead of Xbox live privacy.
