Discus and support Streaming problems (video apps) in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So since xbl went down last (friends list) I lost the ability for my xbox one to stream YouTube, 4oD and twitch in 1080p now it can just about stream...     Streaming problems (video apps)


    So since xbl went down last (friends list) I lost the ability for my xbox one to stream YouTube, 4oD and twitch in 1080p now it can just about stream in 480p my connection has not changed its is at 9+/mbs and easily streams YouTube on my Galaxy S3 fine.
    I have unistalled all said apps at least twice which made no difference.

    Please help of you've experienced this and have fixed this. Its driving me nuts.

    Xbox One App Streaming

    Netflix app? Amazon video app? Xbox video app? Or all video streaming apps? Did you try a hard reset? Sorry you are having problems. I have only used Amazon and Netflix. So far nothing terrible happening for me yet. Though I use those apps infrequently

    Hey there xPwn I!

    Sorry to hear about the streaming issue. Let's start by
    removing your profile from the Xbox One    . Once you remove your profile, try doing a power cycle to clear the Xbox One system cache before you readd your profile. To power cycle, follow these steps:

    • Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console.
    • Once the console powers off, remove the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    • Plug the power back into you console and power on.
    • Add your profile back to your Xbox One console and give it a go!
    Follow the steps above and let us know how it goes!

    Sorry, but it is not currently possible to upload console-streamed game videos. When you record a streamed game, the GameDVR video is associated with the Xbox app, not with the streamed game (because the recording feature doesn't know you are streaming or
    what you are streaming). Consequently it cannot be uploaded (Xbox Live knows that the Xbox app is not a game).

    I have found a work around. Load up youtube app on your phone, play any video, stream video from phone to xbox. Bypasses all problems and works fine after.

    Streaming Videos not playing since update.

    I've been experiencing the same thing over the past few days ( live video streams or recorded video streams stutters and then eventually stops as audio continues, screen sometimes goes blank (green), stuttering video looks like it's skips frames forwards
    and backwards in a loop ). The same problem has occurred in these apps : Amazon Instant Video, YouTube, CBS News, and ABC News. I could have checked other apps, but what's the point? It's got to be affecting all video apps I'm sure. I checked both full screen
    and Snap video for all these apps and the problem is the same.

    XBox Live on the XBox One has been a terrible experience for me over the past year or two. This is just the latest problem. One buys a game console or set-top box to get AWAY FROM this troubleshooting nonsense.
