    Streaming on Windows 10 app no longer shows video since 1803 update.


    I recently updated to version 1803 of Windows 10 and since then I can no longer stream from my Xbox One. Sound plays, but as soon as I try to stream "network quality problems" shows up (instantaneously, not after a few seconds) and after a about 20-30 seconds,
    I get a message saying "We've lost connection to the console".

    Both are wired; the stream test gives me green checks for all possible video qualities, prior to the update, it worked fine on highest quality. I've reinstalled my graphic card drivers. I've reinstalled the Xbox app. I've reinstalled the HEVC codec. No success.

    One odd thing though, the "Films & TV" app or anything where a default Windows program needs to render video, has the same issue. I hear the sound, but no video; playing an .avi file has the issue, watching a trailer (directly selected from the app) has
    the issue and even trying to click the "What's new in this release video" in the Tips app, gives me the same issue.

    I figure the last issue has more to do with the streaming not working.

    My computer's specs are well above anything that's required for any of the apps in question.

    Can no longer upload videos or screenshots!

    Guys, since the Windows 1803 update, i can no longer upload videos or screenshots to Xbox Live, via the Xbox app from my PC.

    Why, it worked before?!

    I noticed that after playing for a few minutes the touchpad and keyboard would no longer provide input to the program. This anomaly first started immediately after I installed the Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803 on my Surface Pro 3. Either the
    Sudoku program requires an update to be compatible with version 1803, or version 1803 is broken and needs an update.

    Xbox console companion along with the rest of windows eight was discontinued earlier this year and will no longer receive updates. Since the launch of Windows 10 you've been supposed to use the Xbox app built into Windows for streaming

    my wife has the stream aswell, the only way to install the updated os version like 1803 1809 is to let it create the update on an external usb pen, make sure you dont have the sd card in the laptop until updated as this will cause a crash as windows 10 will
    not load the drivers for it during the upgrade and it gets stuck in a loop trying to find it.

    no point removing the xbox app as it takes very little space and each upgrade will add it back in.
