Streaming on the new Microsoft edge

Discus and support Streaming on the new Microsoft edge in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Streaming sites like netflix, disney+ and prime video don't work on new microsoft edge of xbox.     Hi

    There will be a new version of Microsoft Edge coming with the spring update. It is currently with the Insider Preview program and I can say it is vastly improved and streams videos without crashing.

    Discovery Plus not working on Xbox Microsoft Edge

    Hello Kathy,

    I am not having any issues with my Series X console in terms of browsing and using the Microsoft Edge browser in streaming Youtube and other video streaming sites.

    On the other hand, if I am using Microsoft Edge on my laptop or android phone, it can't also stream Discovery Plus.

    Watching Britbox through X-Box

    There is no app available from britbox yet for Xbox. You could try streaming from the website through the Microsoft edge browser.

    That's not a bug

    You aren't supposed to

    It's a closed browser

    The change was to put it on par with the desktop browser as far as speed goes

    EXES and java programs int allowed only html5 apps work as long as it stays in the sandbox
