Streaming not working from Windows 10

I cannot start the stream from my laptop Windows 10 to xbox one. I get the response "stream is off in xbox one, please see settings --> default settings". With my Surface 2 it does work fine. so I think it's a problem with xbox app (and not with the xbox
one console like the error says), what could be the problem? Both computers are in same Wi-Fi network.

I've tried with xbox one app v. 27.28 and 28.4. (beeta)

No sound recorded in XBOX GAME DVR videos in Windows 10

I have 2 XBOX ONEs and neither of them are recording audio with Game DVR in Windows 10 when streaming via XBOX App.

They both have the NXOE update. Video records just fine.I recorded a number of videos from Xbox App a month ago with audio but now it's not working.

PC - Alienware Aurora R4. OS Windows 10.

 

XBOX 360 and Game Streaming

Are you trying to stream a game from Xbox 360 to Windows 10? That's not supported - the media center of old was for streaming videos and songs.

There is a way to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10, but it involved using an Xbox One and playing the backwards compatible Xbox 360 on the Xbox 360, then streaming the Xbox One to Windows 10.
