    Streaming music from phone to xbox one


    I used to use imediashare for my 360 to stream music from my phone to my console. So I invested in an Xbox one, thinking it was the all in one media device, but now I can't even stream my music to it!! Plz Microsoft change smartglass to do this!

    RT 8.1 Music?. Limited 'streaming' from one PC to my Surface?

    My guess is that you're not actually streaming the music from your PC, but you're rather streaming it from the Xbox Music catalog.

    Stopping Groove music

    In your mums music app/music player there is usually an option (on Android at least) to cast to or to play on another device. Usually it can stream music to other devices on the local network. You'll need to unpair or delete your Xbox from her streaming
    devices on her phone.
