Discus and support Streaming Media from PC in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I've been all over the forums looking for the answer to my question to no luck so here it goes.     Streaming Media from PC


    I've been all over the forums looking for the answer to my question to no luck so here it goes. I can stream media from my windows 8 PC to my Xbox one, problem is after about 15 min or so the movie freezes. This has happened multiple times with different
    movies I have even made sure my cpu didn't enter hibernation. Any suggestions or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    You can not play content from phone to xbox

    You can set up media streaming from the zune software on your PC

    xbox one not able to stream video off of my Windows based pc!?

    the media player includes dlna, so streaming from a pc, network drive works perfectly for me, you have the option to play files from usb also.

    only way right now is the Windows 7 and Windows 8 "Play To" option! no other way unfortunately

    There are third party software that other people swear by but i personally haven't had any problem with the "Play To" feature that is in windows 7 or 8.

    the paywall is for xbox music and its not to stream from your pc to x1 its to upload your media to the cloud then stream from that.

    people have assumed this is the only way to get media on your x1.

    You can stream from your PC using the Xbox media center. Its not perfect but it works well enough to stream content stored on your PC.
