    hi IV been trying to find some help on this and apologies if posted in wrong part. Ill start with the issue and give as much specs as I know at the end.
    IV set my Xbox one to stream to my windows 10pc, connection is very high after test and no issues when connected to the dash. However when playing battlefield 1 an huge amount of lag and screen distortion occures and renders the game unplayable thinking it
    maybe the multiplayer side I tried single player not as bad but has a five seconds delay and some distortion happens but still unplayable. I then tried Minecraft no distortion with the image just a second time delay so then I tried rocket league game ran perfect
    no delay 4v4 so I'm really confused on what's happening here and would like some help pretty please. So initially I used my desktop pc windows 10 64bit quad core 6gb ram with Nvidia gtx660 2gb (sounds better than it actually is) using either net cable cat5e
    20m (Xbox down stairs pc upstairs) switched to a 2.5ghz wireless network issues remain the same. Switched to my daughters HP Windows 10 64bit laptop (better than my pc) the same results on either net and 5ghz WiFi network. My router is the Virgin media superhub3
    on the vivid 200MB plan the Xbox is connected directly to the router via a 1m cat6e either net cable. Am I doing something wrong or missed some settings I don't understand why a FPS is slower and laggy against a fast pace multiplayer. Thanks for taking the

    XBox App on Windows 10 in lagging.

    All relevant steps are checked and the streaming test

    saying everthing is good to go.

    But it lags as you can see in the video.

    Your internet speed will not affect local game streaming. That is dependant on your local network setup.

    Can I have more info on your setup?

    What type of ethernet cables do you have? CAT5e? CAT6?

    How long are they?

    How are they ran? Are all your devices fairly close or are cables ran through walls?

    Are they all on the same router or do you have more than one router on your network?

    My suggestion is to wait it out. Windows 10 still hasn't been officially released and I know a lot of the updates to the XB1 and Windows 10 are to correct streaming issues. Please standby and hope that it gets worked out before the launch of Windows 10.

    Hi,

    I'm afraid there maybe no easy fix for this issue. From what I've seen and read about, the Xbox Streaming capabilities aren't great. I can only suggest searching on sites such as YouTube to help diagnose your problem.

    A wired network is the optimum way to stream from Xbox to Windows 10, in theory with very little lag, but not so in practice it seems.

    Also, it's important to point out that the speeds provided by your ISP have no bearing on your streaming issues. Xbox One to Windows 10 streaming is using your internal network capabilities, its not using the Internet.
