Discus and support Streaming issues (HDCP?) in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; This began with trying to get Atmos on Disney+, and somehow i ended up with Error 39.     This began with trying to get Atmos on Disney+, and somehow i ended up with Error 39. I could still stream movies from Vudu/FandangoNow, Netflix still works. Now i can't watch Vudu/FDN/Movies and TV app. I get 0xc00d7159, what seems to be ab HDCP error.
    Netflix still works, so they have their own (lack of?) checks.

    Hardware: X1X in preview Alpha, Vizio SB36514, Samsung 55" 2017 model. Everything worked fine together, minus Atmos in D+ but that's not just me.

    I have power-cycled, left unplugged for the night, uninstalled and reinstalled all relevant apps multiple times, swapped multiple cables.

    Oh, it's because the console is in Preview? I dug my S from the closet which isn't in preview, updated to current, and am getting the same issues.

    Why am I suddenly getting HDCP errors? Why is this pointless standard still a thing?

    HDMI issue specifically with 360

    HDMI & HDCP need a stable Data Stream to keep the Handshake & smooth playback on any supported device... If the Pixel Clock Rate, (which determines Data Throughput/Bandwidth), is interrupted, you Will have HDMI/HDCP issues..

    Seeing how it's been stated multiple times, that an Xbox 360 is running, HDMI v1.2 @ 165MHz & the TV is running HDMI v1.3/v1.4 @ 340MHz, it can cause issues with HDCP or HDMI in General..

    The Pixel Clock Rate controls the speed at which the Data stream is Digitally Encoded/Decoded etc..

    Protected video? Cant stream HDMI to PC?

    UPDATE: This issue is resolved; Ive gotten my ps3 to stream to my pc through xbox one (used an old hdmi 'splitter' that also happens to strip HDCP protection)

    Xbox streaming HDCP

    Hello, I've unplugged the hdmi cable quite a lot of times at both ends. I've tried all the hdmi ports at various points but it's currently plugged into the only one that supports HDCP2.2 and 4k. It's a Samsung UE48JU6500 fully up to date firmware and software.
    Looking into this, Samsung TVs do seem afflicted by this issue since the Series X release. I did find this on another thread which may or may not be any use:

    "However, disabling "Allow variable refresh rate" in the Xbox video settings solved the problem for me. Still, this is only a workaround and MUST be fixed with a proper patch."
