    Streaming issue


    Have issue with my laptop trying to stream Xbox. App opens ok and connects to the Xbox but disconnects whenever I start trying to stream. I've checked the network connection and tested steaming and everything is normal. both the app and Xbox are signed into
    the same account and are set to the same date/time. the app is running on version 19.22.6017.00000 and there isn't any updates available. Can anyone help?

    Streaming issue

    What happens is I click on "Artists", and it "thinks" for about 1 or 2 minutes, then says "no artists found". This is the same for Albums. As I mentioned before though, clicking on "songs" works as it should.

    Here is what I have tried:

    going through the entire Xbox initial setup process. twice.

    Deleted and re-installed the media system updates.

    Moved all of my music on to an external drive, formatted, then re-added all music to my library

    Changed the UPnP service to "automatic"

    Verified ALL streaming options are enabled on my computer, as well as the music folder being shared.

    A few other things to note, my laptop computer on the same network (although connected wirelessly) works exactly as it should. I can see Artists, etc......

    Ah, well that's a horse of a different color then, isn't it! Can you let us know exactly how you are streaming between the computer and the console? Have you tried to remove the connection and set it up again? Also, when you do check for Artists, does it
    appear to load but never stop? What are you seeing here? Let us know, thanks!

    Same with me. My app connects to the xbox and the xbox acknowledges that i am connect but all i get is a grey transparent screen. I will try that Xbox App Beta and let you guys know. Also, i had to assign a static IP to my xbox and open several ports in
    order to make sure that the NAT is open. Sometimes i have been told that if the nat is Strict it will not work properly.

    Are either of you two on the xbox preview program? I am and ever since I got my new xbox one s console and switched it to preview program I've been unable to stream. I try manually putting in the IP address like it asks and still nothing. :( I really liked
    this feature even though it looked blurry as **** sometimes.

    great suggestion! I was really excited to try this, even though its only 4$ I'm not a fan of buying software without a trial :( to at least see how its going to work before I purchase.

    Try Tversity. I use that program and find it to be one of the better ones out there for streaming videos/pics/music.
