    I don´t even know if this is the right forum but I cant find one thats better.

    I am trying to stream movies to my xbox one from windows 10.

    I´ve checked all the settings (3 times) and gone over all the guides, but it will not work. Right now nothing simply happens when I try to play a movie to the xbox.

    1- I have the app installed on xbox

    2. I have allowed play to in the settings

    3. I have both units in my network home group, xbox allowed to see files on my pc.

    But when I right click a file and choose play to xbox one, nothing happens. All the time I am doing this I am also logged in to the useless xbox app on windows 10 and my console is connected.

    Anyone got any ideas before I sell this to the first random person I see.

    Up till about 3 weeks ago I have been streaming medai from my pc with xp on to xbox one for 2years and the360 before that now Ican,t is something that microsoft has done with is endless updates which I did not ask for or what. because if it is I want my
    money back as I bought the xbox for for this purpose. and the games obviosly

    what does this have to do with network ports? If you want an answer then show it to people who will know. Even though you are complaining and abusing the support forum by not asking appropriate questions. BT Home Hub 5? Why did you post this here?

    Streaming from PC to xbox one

    Hey there. I don't know if you've tried this, but in the past when my Xbox refused to communicate with my PC, a hard reset fixed it. To do this, go to Settings, Power, Turn Xbox off. Wait until it is fully shut down, and turn it back on and try again after
    a few minutes. If that doesn't work, do the same thing, but unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 2 minutes after it is shut down and then try again.

    There isn't an option to stream from a PC to your Xbox One, but you can stream from your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC.

    Do you mean streaming from Xbox onto PC as described on this Stream games from Xbox One to PC support page?

    The streaming feature described in the support page above is only available for the Xbox One.

    By hooking up and playing, do you mean actually connecting the Xbox 360 to your PC? If you can describe what you are trying to do, it will help us point you in the right direction :)
