Streaming disconnects

This is getting a tad annoying. Disconnects randomly but mainly within couple of minutes if I am lucky. Before my latest laptop update, the streaming was fine, didn't disconnect, streaming was consistent, now, it isn't. The xbox is wireless, within a foot
of the router, if I play the xbox through the tv its fine. I was thinking about doing a wired connection for xbox to router and see if that could solve some of issues.

Any other ideas?

Game streaming disconnection and controller loss

Every few minutes, game streaming disconnects.

Everything is connected wired on a gigabit network. No problems are detected on Test Streaming, but streaming disconnects in the middle of games several times a night. Changing quality settings does not affect the frequency of disconnects. Forcing the console
to restart through the settings menu reduces the rate temporarily but it rises as time goes on.

Other times, the controller simply stops responding and I have to exit streaming and restart it. Obviously this is unacceptable in multiplayer games.

Please fix streaming.

Streaming Movies

I don't have a definite solution but here's a few suggestions.

Do a test stream to determine which quality you're capable of streaming and only stream at your maximum, or lower than you're capable of quality. This doesn't matter of course, if you've got good internet.

Also, try using your laptop and/or Xbox with an Ethernet cable to determine whether it's a wireless issue or a driver/software issue. If it works with Ethernet be sure to update your WIFI adapter if you can to see if that solves the issue.

Because this is a result of a 'laptop update' windows update maybe? You should check what's changed so you can determine what the problem is. You might also want to check for an update for the Xbox App.

So as I said, I have no definite solution but I though I'd just share these ideas with you to possibly reach an explanation for your issue.

I am also having the same issues. My xbox is connect via Ethernet and laptop wireless and when I play BF4 or Titanfall it just disconnects from the stream and then when I go to stream again its disconnect from ea too. I have a netgear nighthawk router which
runs perfectly fine for the other xbox which runs through the tv but the one I stream with is having these issues.

The main thing it disconnects on is the new dlc for Batman especially batman beyond skin. It has stabalised and now I'm missing the streaming icon on the xbox app.....from one thing to another lol

Just don't update to 10547. Now whenever you press "B" it stops the stream!

Make sure both are connected to the cable before turn on. Obviously if you disconnect the wifi the streaming will disconnect too.

Thanks for the reply, seems like too much hassle to try and set up the Xbox to PC connection and is probably impractical

More info: on the first stream attempt it works for 5-10 minutes, before disconnecting. On subsequent attempts, it only lasts for roughly a minute, or less. After restarting the laptop, the stream still lasts for a minute or less before disconnecting. After
restarting the Xbox, it goes back to a 5-10 minute stream. Repeat.

Also, there are no audio/video glitches before it disconnects; the disconnect is very sudden

There's a work around when using the built-in Mixer streaming, for now, disconnect your webcam.

That should at least stabilize your stream.
