Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. I don't think there is an option to disable the mic from in the Xbox app settings. You would have to disable the mic from your windows pc settings.

In the Settings app, navigate to " Privacy " and then to " Microphone " appearing on the left panel.

[*]On the right panel, toggle the button to Off under " Let apps use my microphone"
[*]You would have to adjust this setting once you are done streaming if you want the mic to be activated for other apps. There may also be a setting for you to disable the mic in your sound options as well.

Im afraid it didnt work.

I've already unpluged any mic from my computer and also done that.

The xbox app also has empty the mic selection menú and still doing the same.

Each time Im using the control with the mic in the xbox, i start stream and the mic stops working.

I dont think its about the computer detecting a mic.

Its about dome option for use microphone and cancelling the one o have connected directly to the xbox.

I could use the mic in the pc, but the audio is horrifying.

There is nothing like using the mic directly in the control to the xbox.

Ya he tratado de conectar el micrófono a la pc.

El problema es la app de Xbox, porque el micrófono suena bien en la PC, y a la aplicación le llega el audio distorsionado

Y teniendo un control conectado al xbox, y con jack 3.5 hembra y la capacidad de que al xbox le llegue el audio directo y limpio, no me funciona usar la diadema en la PC con la distorsión que se genera.

Y los grupos mediante la app de Xbox me parece que ya están deshabilitados (¿?), puesto que aún así, para usar los chats en los juegos no funcionaria.
