    Streaming apps not working if I have UHD color enabled


    I have been having an ongoing issue with my Xbox One X. I have a Samsung 4k UHD tv. When I enable UHD color on the tv and then try to go in to Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon I get a black screen with just sound. I have tried bypassing my receiver and connecting
    directly into the tv, resetting the Xbox and tv back to factory defaults, reinstalling the apps, and disabling everything in the xbox video options except 4k and hdr. Any ideas?

    yeah I have HDR+ enabled and I have HDMI UHD color enabled in all three hdmi ports and still no dice Streaming apps not working if I have UHD color enabled :(

    Latest update messed up black levels for UHD playback

    I have the same issue, but just with video. Games look great with HDR enabled. But, for some reason, UHD HDR discs and Netflix media the colors are muted. If I use the Netflix app on my TV the colors are great.

    For Samsung TVs, to enable the UHD for an HDMI port, you will have to go to (on the TV) to Settings > General > External Device Manager > HDMI UHD Color > Enable it for your HDMI port. Reboot the xbox and see if your xbox detects it as 4k UHD Now.

    I would also enable game mode on the External Device Manager page so that you have less input lag.
