    I was really excited when I learned that you could, with Windows 10, play on your Xbox by streaming to it. I know its in the making, but when I visited

    I got a feeling that this would be possible, so I installed the latest build of Windows 10 and connected my Xbox one to the software (Xbox app in Win10). I also saw this presentation but I dont seem to have the same options. Is it not implemented yet, are
    there some requirements or do the game need to support this feature to get this to work?

    Yeah I came across this same thing - I assume it's some future feature but that really is not clear by micros offs statements - in fairness to them though 10. Isn't released yet so everything is really future

    It's not implemented yet as Windows 10 isn't out until July 29th or something along those lines. You might have the beta version of it whatever they were calling it. But it's not officially out until then and I think at that point it'll be possible.

    I already reserved my free copy of Windows 10, so I'm excited to find out.

    Yeah, really looking forward to the release! The thing I'm wondering about is every game going to be streamable? From the presentation with that car game Forza and that other game Fable it seems be multiple features:

    1) stream the game from xbox to pc (with Windows 10)

    2) play the game cross platform (xbox and desktop)

    I really REALLY hope that every game is streamable as it should be easy to just mirror the xbox, will take up some bandwith but the tech is here already. This cross platform thingy would require the developer to implement this in their game, and not what
    I'm after... so please please Microsoft, let me stream any game Stream Xbox gaming to Windows 10? :)

    XBOX 360 and Game Streaming

    Are you trying to stream a game from Xbox 360 to Windows 10? That's not supported - the media center of old was for streaming videos and songs.

    There is a way to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10, but it involved using an Xbox One and playing the backwards compatible Xbox 360 on the Xbox 360, then streaming the Xbox One to Windows 10.

    Hi BrianRagle,

    The Xbox One isn't really designed to be a network media server. You can only stream from your Xbox to your Windows 10 PC using the Xbox App for Windows 10. However protected video and HDCP-protected content can't be streamed with game streaming. This includes
    protected HDMI television content as well as the content from many media applications.
