Stream Via Ethernet Cable from MAC

I am running a iMAC 27" El Capitan. Xbox One Halo 5 Edition.

I am able to stream lower quality movies via Wireless but High REs MKV is Too choppy

If I connect my MAC to the Xbox One via Ethernet cable, will I be able to stream these movies, videos etc from the MAC to the X box one over the ethernet cable?

I want to stream HIGH Res movies to the box I have no issues with lower resolution files.

MAC to XBox One

XBOXONE WIN10 STREAMING HELP

So right now I seemed to have misplaced one of my Ethernet cables. I want to stream Xbox to my PC but I usually do that with 2 cables. I'm not really sure which device should have the Ethernet cable inserted into it for the best results. The Console or the PC? They are both an equal distance from the router.

Are you talking about going from the internet port on the MAC to the Internet port on the XBOX? If that is what you are asking then the answer is no you can't do that. Those ports are for input not output so your MAC would not stream data out through the
ethernet port.

Thank you for your help. Do you know if there is a way to Stream movies to the Xbox One from the MAC via hardwire? the files are over 34 Gig so they cannot be played via flash drive I am assuming..

You can't. You can stream music and movies from your mac to your xbox, but it's not possible to store them on the xbox harddrive. The only way to store music on your xbox is to rip from cd's.

You can also load the music to a USB key and play them from that, using the music tab option when the home button is pressed. You should also be able to play them from the my music app on the dashboard, located under music -> my apps.
