    Stream to Steam


    First off, I want to start by saying how difficult it is to navigate this website. I accidentally posted to the 360 forums and now I have to sacrifice a small goat to the Internet gods in order for me to change it.

    now that's out of the way, Steam has this thing that allows you to add non-steam games to the game directory, (you can add whatever program you want) and then you can configure your settings for streaming (Tested this with VLC, it works). I have done that and
    now I want to do it with the Xbox Live app on Windows 10. The problem is that I can't find the install directory for the Xbox Live App on Windows 10. Once I have it, I'll be able to pinpoint the executable and stream the content to all of my friends on steam.

    Can anybody point me in the right direction?

    XBOX ONE = TOTAL LACK OF CONTROL

    I have always used ORB to stream my photos and movies to everything, it even streams the webcams. Worked great with 360. Does Steam Big Picture stream to X1 as I cant find any streaming choices at all. Even my TV sets will stream my media and the processor
    is not big in those, LOL

    Anyone else use an Xbox 360 Controller for PC Gaming?

    Yes! this is how I play when I am streaming games using Steam In Home Streaming. WOrks flawlessly. Steam BIg PIcture is really cool too.

    The default location to where Windows 10 apps are installed is C:\Program Files\WindowsApps however this requires you to alter the security settings in order to view and to reveal hidden folder as the WindowsApps folder is hidden.

    I have tried adding the EXE to Steam but it results in an error so I believe the same will happen with you so it's probably just not possible. There's alternatives to streaming from your pc, if you have an Nvidia GPU you can use Shadowplay. For AMD GPU's
    you should be able to use Raptr for Streaming.

    It might work, it might not. It's not it's intended use so there's no support pages on it.

    Microsoft Store and Steam Deck

    That’s not possible except for Cloud Streaming. Steam Deck runs Linux, and the Xbox app doesn’t support PC streaming.

    You’ll have to install Windows to play Windows Store games on Steam deck natively or stream using a third party solution from a Windows PC

    That hw cannot stream using the pc

    That's his issue

    Steams takes revenue from developers why would ms share benefit of xbox with steam users?

    He's trying to use game streaming with something that isn't xbox he's trying to use a steam game with something that isn't connected he needs xbox services not steam it's like asking for the play anywhere titles with a steam title

    He's asking to merge his steam purchases with xbox game services to get both benefits which he cannot since he bought from steam
