Discus and support Stream Recording in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I NEED HELP!!! Whenever I click to start recording the stream it notifies me that "Their is nothing to record, please play some more and try again...     I NEED HELP!!! Whenever I click to start recording the stream it notifies me that "Their is nothing to record, please play some more and try again later." Why is this happening!?!?!? It used to work fine!!!

    Xbox App recording has a 40 second limit?

    Yes that is correct. I connected to my Xbox from Win 10 and then started the stream. Then on the laptop I used the keyboard shortcut to start the recording (Win+Alt+R). Let the recording run for 2 minutes and then pressed Win+Alt+R again to stop the recording.
    I then get a notification that the recording is complete. I then stop the stream and go to the Game DVR page on the Xbox app to review the recording and found that it is only 40 seconds long. I opened the recording folder in windows explorer and it is still
    only 40 seconds long.

    As far as I'm aware the only way to record your voice chat (and optionally your parties chat) is by streaming straight to mixer and setting it to record the whole stream

    There is no way currently to record party chat on Xbox.

    There are work-arounds to record party chat and those include but are not limited to: third party recording software, streaming on Twitch or another streaming platform.

    Sorry, but it is not currently possible to upload console-streamed game videos. When you record a streamed game, the GameDVR video is associated with the Xbox app, not with the streamed game (because the recording feature doesn't know you are streaming or
    what you are streaming). Consequently it cannot be uploaded (Xbox Live knows that the Xbox app is not a game).

    I cannot record what happened on roblox on my Xbox Series X

    I have the same problem here, Recording what happened and Streaming Roblox wouldn’t work for me at all, any other games works just fine for me but it’s Roblox that’s having this issue with recording/Streaming.
