Stream owned games VIA PHYSICAL Xbox

I own the game “Rust” which I am able to play using Xbox Cloud gaming via my mobile devices and the Xbox Windows app. However, on my physical Xbox, I must instead install the game locally in order to play it. The problem is that the game runs terribly via my locally installed version due to Xbox S performance limitations, whereas the game plays perfectly and without graphics glitches when played via Cloud Gaming on mobile and desktop. Unfortunately, Xbox cloud gaming via a physical Xbox only allows for streaming the Game Pass Ultimate library of games. When I view my owned games, ie Rust, I do not get a button the play via cloud gaming; there is only a button to install the game. Can you please add a feature to stream “owned games” via a physical Xbox console? This would help me immensely! Thanks!

On a side note: The concept of Cloud Gaming is astonishing to me…I am surprised it works! It’s practically quantum computing 😳🤪

That feature is currently being worked on with some Insider tiers. So it'll slowly release to others at some point.

you have to remember you don't own any game or software, you only own a licence to access and play said game, if you bought physical media then you only own the licence via physical media. nobody has ever owned their games or software for any platform.

I said months ago that whats coming is a streaming service, where MS/Sony keeps/maintains/upgrades the hardware on their end, then streams your games in 4k to you via a set top box.

All you got to is buy/rent the box, and maintain 50 or better kbps net speeds. Meaning the console/games you buy you'll never actually get to physically touch.
