Stream audio is just a series of clicks and pops when broadcasting using Xbox One Twitch app

No idea why the audio is beyond messed up when I broadcast. The video is fine. The audio is unrecognisable, just a series of clicks and pops.

Things I've tried:

Reinstalling the Twitch app.

Deleting my saved Twitch data both on the console and the cloud.

Resetting my stream key via the Twitch website.

Reconnecting my Xbox Live account to the Twitch "connections".

Streaming at different bitrates.

Trying different games.

Unplugging Xbox One from the mains, waiting a few minutes, plugging it back in.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what the problem is here. I have had no luck Googling this problem, nobody else on the internet seems to have had this issue, which means I am totally stuck for support. I tweeted @twitchsupport but haven't had any
response.

My Xbox One is connected to my router by a LAN cable, not WiFi. I am in the Dashboard Preview Program. I would unenrol myself from the Dashboard Preview Program if I thought it would solve the problem, but I'm not convinced it will because I've been part
of the Dashboard Preview for ~2 years and have only had this problem in the last few weeks.

I'm pretty desperate for help here... anyone?

Xbox One Twitch "Ghost Streaming" Broadcast Issue

When the Twitch App got updated for Xbox One it worked like a charm. No problems at all, i streamed some games and had watchers each time. Not many truth be told but it was exciting nonetheless. Then i noticed that over the last month or so, everytime
i broadcast no-one would appear & i'd also have issues with the Preview Pic not appearing. It would say in Broadcasting though. My friend wanted to watch me Broadcast some games and when i started broadcasting, he couldn't find my broadcast anywhere on twitchs
own website. It would say im Online Broadcasting such and such game but there would be a black screen. He then got an Xbox One recently and when i start broadcasting he clicked to watch but said "Broadcast has Finished" even though im still Broadcasting. I
left my XB1 Broadcasting and popped on Twitchs website myself, searched the Game i was playing and i wasn't in the list of Streams at all. When i finish Streaming on Xbox One it Archives the Footage on my Twitch Account, so it is Broadcasting. It seems its
"Ghost Streaming" though, kinda like how you can be on your Xbox but be Hidden Offline to everyone else. My Stream is Streaming but not visible to anyone at all. Just tried Streaming Child of Light 30mins ago and a different friend on XB1 couldn't watch my
stream either. I have all my Xbox Settings set up the way they should be. Same goes for my Twitch Settings. I've Unlinked from my Xbox One, Deleted Twitch App along the Data on my console, requested a new Stream Key. Reinstalled Twitch App, Signed in, Linked
my Xbox One to my Twitch Account. Even after all that, i'm still Ghost Streaming each time i try to Broadcast. Last game i managed to Broadcast that could be found on Twitch was Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. Not sure when the issue started but i can give
a Live Demonstration of the Issue. Temporarily Follow Me, message me to Stream a Game and you'll see what i mean. Then the Footage is Archived. HELP!

Seems it's a known issue but it's been known for a little while now. Not ideal. Oh well, at least I'm not alone and it's being looked into.

 

I'm having the same issue. Funny think is when I unsnap twitch. That's when the audio starts to pop on the stream. But when I snap twitch or another app. It fixes it while it's up. It's strange. Are you also using the kinect? Did unplugging that do anything?

 

Interesting, I hadn't tried leaving Twitch snapped. Far from ideal though obviously. Yes I have Kinect but turning it off made no difference.

Like you, I've tried all those methods and even tried factory resetting my console. Still getting the messed up audio...

 

I'm having the same problem. Audio on my streams with the Xbox one app have audio breakup pretty much no sound. Happened after the last update to twitch and Xbox. I tried all the trouble shooting steps too with no luck. Funnily enough, twitch works on
my PC and PS4 with no problem. I hope they fix this issue soon.

 

I am having this issue as well. Now here's something odd, its only happening to the in-game audio, party chat works fine but game audio glitches in and out for a min and will start working normally after a few. I'm not sure why this is happening and its
not due to my internet. I work for a local cable provider and can check my internet from the back end. Everything is fine there, no connection drops, no lag. I have 100 down and 35mb upstream.

 

I'm getting this too. The snap trick works for a few seconds, but then goes back to skipping. I emailed Twitch, and they said they're working on the fix, it can't come fast enough.

Anyone resolved this yet? Since the last update of Twitch I have been having these issues. No response from Twitch support as yet. I wonder if this is going to be updated in the new Xbox update which is why we are getting no response. When I come out of
the game and go back in sound works for a second then goes back to being the annoying glitch noise.

Sorry to hear about the Twitch issues. Looks like this issue popped up for the original poster around March and it has likely been resolved for them. Twitch is definitely going to be your best point of contact but if you'd like some help troubleshooting
