Strange Wifi Problems - Xbox One X

I have been having problems with connecting wifi, this one network that i have been connected to for 8 months suddenly stops connecting, says "cannot connect to your wireless network" with no error code, i thought it was a wifi isssue so i contacted the
provider support, they said other xbox's are connected to to same routers as me and they have no problems (i am in military accommodation) so i went through the usual power cycle routine and no luck, the internet provider changed the wifi channel for me and
then it started working again.

But then 5 hours later it started not connecting again, so this time i went and factory restored my xbox, which fixed it but then again 6 hours later it after turning off the xbox and coming back on, it wasn't connecting again, there are 2 Wifi networks
in my block and it will connect to the other one fine every time but i cannot use it because it has strict NAT type not good for online gaming. so after 8 months, all of a sudden it wont connect to my usual wifi and there is another guy who is literally next
to me connecting his xbox up with no issues.

Does anyone have any ideas, or think this is a hardware issue. Problem is there are so many conflicting things about whether it is wifi issue or hardware

Key Points

1. Wont connect to the wifi i have been using for 8 month now, tried restarting router etc, mac filtering is correct

2. connected for 5 hours after the channel was changed on the router, then not working again

3. connects to this other network fine everytime

4. worked for 6 hours ish after factory reset

5. other consoles and xbox is connected to same network with no issues

very confusing, any ideas anyone

I have an xbox one x, purchased 1 year ago, kept in ventilated area, i have strong signal for my wifi
