Strange sounds

Hello,

i have got my console since about 2 and a half years and i never really had problems with it since a few weeks ago. My console now makes a sort of scratching noises when i put in a bluray disk (games and films). The disks themselves are not damaged at all
in this process and work fine, but the sound is really annoying. When i put in DVDs, there isn't such noise and everything works normal and quiet. I really have no idea what this could be. Thanks in advance.

the scratchy sound is a bit concerning to me. From time to time it is necessary to clear the cache on the system to get it to play games. Battlefield 4 is what my Xbox One has issues loading from time to time. If the option is available to you I would exchange
it for a new device. If that option is no longer available then you can contact XBOX support at 1 800 4MY XBOX or begin a service query at

support.xbox.com/.../warranties-and-repair

Yeah, I didn't think it was quite right myself. Thanks for backing me up Wavau. Definitely going to return it and exchange for a new one. Maybe they'll even let me pay the difference and get the one with Kinect... I actually do like this console and would
love to be able to use it as intended. Thanks again mate, cheers!
