Strange problem with connection

Hi, I have a very strange and new problem with my connection. First, I respond to the questions that appear in the xbox support page:

What Country/State/Province do you live in? Argentina

Modem and Router brand & model number: Huawei Echolife HG8245

How many Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles are connected to this router?: Only 1 Xbox one

Wired or Wireless (for each console): Wired

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?: No

Who is your ISP? (Internet Service Provider): Claro Telmex

I always had my Xbox One connected via Etherney. Fixed IP, and the ports required by Xbox forwarded in the Router. I entered the preview program 2 weeks ago. 2 days ago, console had to update, but it couldn´t download the update from the internet. I though
there could be a xbox live problem, but it wasnt the case. Internet worked fine at home, except for
www.xbox.com and
www.microsoft.com I tried accesing these pages from my cellphone, and then it worked. At the end, I updated my xbox using my cellphone internet.

Since that moment, the Xbox is connected to the internet, I can play games which need to be online, but I don´t see my pins or anything in the dashboard. It says "connect to Xbox Live - Here´s some help to get you back online" If I click there it sends me to
the network configuration page. However all the online features works. For example I tried Destiny, it updated in game at full speed, and then I was able to play online without problems and see all my friends. Another example I can open my friend list as snap,
see who is online and send messages. So all the online features seem to work, except for the marketplace and the pins - information on the home dashboard.

The detailed network information shows the same as the last 6 months:

5,6 Mbps down speed, 1 Mb uplad speed, 0% package loss, 1480 MTU, 210 ms latency, NAT open (but behind a cone nat), and status code: 0x104004000000000000

I contacted my ISP, but they tell me they have no problem with international connection or
www.xbox.com specificaly. I can now access this website in my computer. From the ISP they asked me exactly which IP is the console trying to connect to, but I have no way of knowing this.

PLease note I have no access to the router (dumb policy from the ISP), in order to do the port forward I had to call them and they did it remotely. So any test or solution attemp involving changing something I have to call them.

I tried changing to WIFI, with the same router, but the xbox doesn´t get the IP I set. After I complete all the manual information, it connects but receives always an IP 269.254.243.132 (I configure 192.168......) so nothing even similar. In this case, the
Xbox is completely offline. I don´t know why this could happen.

Last, I tried connecting with my cellphone, in this case it works perfectly (except for a NAT problems which are logical as I can´t do port forwarding with my cellphone).

I am new in the preview program, is it possible this is a bug I should report? If this is the case, where should I report this and get support?

Very Strange and Frustrating problem with Internet Connection

I have been having a lot of problems with my modem lately. I know my router works fine, I have no problems with it. However, there is a strange thing happening to my modem. Whenever I play the xbox during the day, I have zero problems no matter how
long I play. However, at night, probably past about 10pm the problems begin. I will be able to play the xbox for about 30 miniutes, then all of a sudden, I am disconnected from the internet, not xbox live, the internet in general, even my laptop can't connect.
I restart the modem and the internet works again, until I log onto xbox live. I log onto xbox live and almost immediately afterwords, the connection drops out, over and over, and it's only when I play the xbox. Then, after a while, even restarting my modem
dosn't reconnect me to the internet for about an hour. However, during the day, I have no problem. Does anyone know why I would be in this strange situation. As you might be able to guess, I am getting very frustrated and am surprised that I havn't flattened
my modem with a steeam-roller yet

could it be that your isp has capped you and therefore when its a busy time normally after 6pm your dropped out ?

 

Go to your network settings, then advanced settings. Is your IP listed in the Network as the 269. or a 192.?
