Strange problem (NAT error???)

Hi all,

I have a strange problem. Despite having open NAT, I can't connect one specific friend's party and game. This problem happens randomly and there are times that we can join each other. Of course we can solve the problem by joining a third person's party.
Now I'm suspicious of NAT. It doesn't give any NAT error in testing Xbox live connection, nevertheless when I press Y it shows me an status report which you can see in the following paragrapgh :

W:0000 - 000B

X : 0000 - F001

Y : 20A8 - 4840

Z : 0000 - 0000

ID FFFF - FFFF

L : 0015 - 10F0

Q : 8015 - 100D

T : Wired

A : 192.168.1.100/255.255.255.0

G: 192.168.1.1

D: 192.168.1.1/0.0.0.0

I have contacted Microsoft regarding this issue and I was told that this is happening because a necessary port is not forwarded. So I port forwarded Xbox live ports and checked with my ISP whether they are open or not but it didn't resolve the issue. I also
disabled Upnp and gave my Xbox an static IP address through the modem router and put that IP in DMZ but it didn't work again. Next time I tried to set static IP address inside Xbox network setting and this time it gave moderate NAT error. Then I switched
back to automatic and it didn't give NAT error but showed the same error that I mentioned above.

By the way I have TP-LINK W8951ND and my friend has another model of TP-LINK and he gets the same error.

What else can I do?

Multiplayer connection issue

Strange. An OPEN NAT should not give you this problem.

 

problem with halo 4: cant connect to friends games and im lv 14, but it shows that im lv 1

same problem, brought the game today and havent been able to join. my nats open and so's his ? strange......

 

You should update the firmware for you router here:

and than forward your router's port:

portforward.com/.../Xbox_Live_360.htm
