    Strange noise when turning console on/off (video included)


    Since that last update this has been happening. It sounds like the optical drive is checking for a disc or something, but I don't have one in, and the sound is totally new aswell.

    It sounds like a single "chug". I'm pretty sure it's not the hard drive.

    I bought the console on march 11 and have had no problems so far.

    Strange noise?

    Brand new 1TB Xbox One is making the strangest noise, video below. When on it does it frequently, but when on stand by its on/off constant.

    Odd noise when turning console off/on

    I've had this since I first got my console in November. Usually when turning the console on.

    It doesn't seem to be causing any problems though.

    My console works fine otherwise and isn't getting any worse.

    Mines made a similar noise to that when turning on since I had it in November

    I don't worry about it though as otherwise it works perfectly.

    I think it's just the bluray drive checking for a disc as well.

    It makes the noise when I push the eject button, when I turn it on and when I turn it off sometimes it would do it when I'm playing a game or if I turn the console off it makes the noise again 5 minutes later.

    Hi Tomaz. I think that it’s the noise of the hard disk.when it starts make this noise start a short video of 4 K video chip and turn off. The issue EXISTS ONLY FOR THE 4K TV, I had try the console whit a normal TV and magicaly it works whitout problems
