Strange noise near the power supply cable

Good morning, i've recently buy an xbox one S and i noticed tha near the power supply cable entrance there is a strange noise.. like a "zzzz" this is when the console is turned off.. is this anormal energy noise or not?

Power supply making a strange noise

I have an old xbox (not slim) and my power supply has started to make strange noises when I turn my xbox on, it's not really annoying, but I wanna fix it just in case. I've tried opening the power supply and cleaning it, it seemed that it was fixed, but
when I started moving the power supply to put it in the right plaace, it started again with the noises. I could buy a new power supply, but first I prefer to try to solve the problem by myself.

Hi, I have a problem with my Xbox, my power supply makes strange noises. Can someone tell me why / where does that come from?

Hello, I have the same exact problem. It is "zzzz" sounding noise when the console is turned off. I bought a new Xbox One S couple of days ago. I tried full shutdown and energy-saving mode and the intermittent BUZZ sound is coming from the integrated PSU.

I would like to know if this is normal as well.

 

Little update to help people wondering about this noise in the Xbox One S power supply:

I returned the freshly bought Xbox One S back to the store and got a replacement. The same noise is still there, so it must be a normal feature with the Power Supply. If the noise is so loud that you can hear it a couple meters away, then the PSU is faulty.
I can only hear the sound when I come really near to the Xbox.
