Strange noise coming from fan inside my Xbox One

Scratching noise could indicate the fan has been damaged, has come loose or just at a strange angle. have you tried turning your Xbox on its side or standing it upright? Be sure to remove the disc inside before changing its position as that could damage
the disc if left inside. If it is still making the scratching noise contact support.

it was coming from the hard drive. i did an internet seach and the clicking noise was similar to the "hard drive click of death". A failing hard drive.

My cousin's xbox one S made the same clicking noise with no beep, the clicking in his xbox was coming from the fan

Printer like noise?

A quiet clicking/ticking type noise will be normal hard drive noise.

But it's hard to tell if the buzzing noise is normal unless you can hear it.

Do you have any way of putting it on youtube or something?

Also do you have Kinect?

There were threads about Kinectless Xboxes making a high pitched hum. You could try searching the forums for one of these threads.

I think mine sounds similar to the one in the second video except not as loud.

It's never really bothered me though. As my friends console makes a similar noise too I just assumed it was normal.
