    Strange Issues When Using Arabic as Xbox One Language


    Hello,

    I live in the US and I had this issues with Xbox One and now with Xbox One X. I was so glad when the Arabic language was finally added to the Xbox few months ago, how when I change the Xbox language to Arabic, I start encountering many strange issues:

    1- All games and apps language (that does not support Arabic) would be in Spanish for voice and text, not in English. And some games and apps do not have the option to change the language from within. Even Netflix would be dubbed in Spanish (but Netflix
    is easy to change, and now it supports Arabic). So, if I am really into a particular game, I have to switch the system Language to English, and then to Arabic again after I am done with that game, until I encounter the same issue with a different game/app.

    2- Xbox Game pass would not auto renew EVER if my system language is set to Arabic on the date of renewal. This happened couple times and I had to contact support and the only solution was to just cancel my subscription and then re-subscribe.

    3- On the Activity Feed tab ANY screenshot would be flipped horizontally, I think this may have to do with the fact the Arabic is a Right-to-Left language, but it is just strange. Videos and text posts are fine, just screenshots.

    I have contacted support about these issues, and was advised to submit it here. Can anybody help? or can some body escalate these so these are fixed in the near future? I would really Appreciate it.

    Note: I can use it in English, but I do prefer it to be in my language. Win10 PCs and the PS4 do not have any issues with using Arabic as system language, so I know it can be done.

    Regarding the numbers in the XBOX 1X are numbers in Pakistani language and not the Arabic language

    In Arabic, the numbers are the same as the English language.

    ARABIC language characters

    Hi,

    I found that the ARABIC language characters isn't identified in the YOUTUBE application, when ever there is a video with Arabic characters it comes in unrecognized characters, I think you need to add the Arabic language characters
    to the languages in X-BOX YOUTUBE.

    Same thing with the search on YOUTUBE , the Arabic language characters isn't available to use it in search.

    because this app don't have Simp Chinese support but have Trad Chinese but it doesn't fallback to english if you don't have language pack but Arab..............................(so strange)

    so all you need is add an Trad Chiese language pack ( for example : taiwan )
