    Strange issue since downloading new Preview update


    Hey, hopefully someone can help me. Ever since downloading the new Preview update, Xbox live disconnects about every 15 seconds, then reconnects 15 seconds later. The only error message I ever get has to do with Teredo, but I never had any issues prior to
    this update and it doesn't always give this error. So far I've powercycled both my router and xbox several times, tried Wifi instead of wired connection, and even Restored the xbox to factory default and nothing has worked. My NAT is almost always Open, but
    sometimes since this started it says Strict. All other consoles and devices are connected to the internet without problems, and the Xbox also was prior to the update. Any assistance is extremely appreciated.

    A new update of the Xbox One is in preview; improves the party chat

    Please note that Microsoft has just released a new update for the participants in the Xbox preview programme One; as mentioned previously, for December are not particularly important updates, and this goes to settle some issues relating to the group chat. As always, who is part of the preview can download it manually from the system settings and then take part in the various tests/surveys provided by the program's preview app.

    New dashboard question

    so I have two Xbox ones in my house, mine and my sons
    I am in the preview program only and my son is not in any programs
    He turned his Xbox on today to see an update which was strange since we both have instant on
    He now has the new dashboard and I'm on the original one
    How did his Xbox one get update when he isn't in any preview programs? And why is making be not update?

    Oh yeah, and I've turned the firewall off on my Gateway and went through the Teredo troubleshoot steps on here.

    It happens to me as well, the best solution is to hard reset like you did. Good news is latest preview Update 1408 seems to run a lot faster and I haven't had that particular chat issue since. Destiny Beta did some strange thing but that was the game that
    was interfering with that.

    Thanks both. I did some more research and found out later that was linked to the new preview update issue. And indeed for a strange reason unplugging the kinect solved the problem.
