Strange "followers"

Actually if you read the entire article it contradicts itself. In the first section it details how a friend request works on 360. Then in the Followers section it details how a friend request works on the xbox one. Sorry Doc, unless you have actually pics
to prove you received a friend request message it didnt happen.

 

Prove what that I got a friend request? Read what I said in detail and in context. Trust me, I got a friend request. Never said I got it on XO, or even how I said I would send them, before I stated that I was currently on my XO. Could send a FR from here
or on my 360.

 

By the way, if you read the article in context it doesn't contradict itself at all. But I did have fun, with SS. He gets condescending. It's hard not to.

not to get into your tassle here.. but it is possible the guy sending a request.... just sent a message at the same time.... "friend request" or maybe sent the request from a 360? I know me personally... I have got a few of those.. but normally, you do
not get a message....unless it was manually sent..only way you know you got a "request" is the "new" icon (slash at corner of the followers tab under friends app

 

Lets tone down the attitude guys. There's no need to derail a thread about who's right and who's wrong.

 

Is there no option to turn off the ability to be followed? If not, then my strong anti-social side is definitely pushing me away from this console. Having to deal with random friend requests or even random messages on 360 is enough for me, but to actually
be followed? No, just no.

During the squabble here last night, a friend and I did some testing and you're right, we will get the new follower indicator on the followers tab - so at least we get some form of notification. It's going to take some time getting used to the new system,
but I think we'll adapt. I also noticed that if you want to de-friend someone, they become a follower again. You have to block them, in order to get rid of them entirely. So now it's a two step process, in that regard.



By the way, I apologize for my part in the squabble last night.

 

That helps me work something out, I had a friend request from 360 to XB1 from a guy who wants to co-op dungeon seige 3. So that's in my followers? Strange because I haven't got a friend request logging into this site
