Strange "followers"

voteDC: I didn't realize that being an ambassador disqualified me from voicing a honest opinion. Please check my other posts/messages/chat help and see how mean and nasty I always am. I don't believe that I insulted anyone, called anyone out, I just stated
that I did not like the "follower" option.

[/quote] It showed up under messages. It said friend request. Also, I'm on my dashboard right now looking at someone who isn't on my friend's list and I have the option to "Add friend".

 

Of course friend requests still work on the 360 and xbox.com. Why wouldn't they? The Xbox One does not do friend requests. You can only follow someone and maybe they'll follow you back.

Scroll up kid. It's all up there in print. No matter how much you wish that was not the case. But here, I'll try to use smaller words for you. You can not send a friend request on Xbox One. You will not receive a friend request on Xbox One. When you view
a persons gamercard who you wish you add, you click "add friend". You did not send a friend request.

You are now appearing on that persons followers list. You are not on that persons friends list. If that persons wishes for you to be on his friends list, he must go to your gamercard and click "add friend". Do I need to go over that again? Maybe draw you
a picture? Or perhaps sock puppets are more your thing?

 

Of course I'm not on that person's friends list, until they accept it. Some people are so easy to rile up. ...actually I should say children, because you're acting like one.

Wrong again. This is a tedious pattern with you. Seriously, I don't understand the problem here. 8 year olds grasp this concept without a fraction of the difficulty you are experiencing. No one is accepting anything. Because there is no request to accept.
When you "add friend" you are following that person.

Everything Sword Style said is correct. You won't become friends with someone unless you both follow each other. Otherwise you'll just be a follower/stalker.
