    Strange disc drive issue


    My Xbox One has and always had the same strange disc drive issue. It plays blu-rays and games that are now installed but fails to install new games from discs and play dvds (games and movies). This issue appeared the first time around the beginning of last
    year, I send it to repair and it worked for a few months until the issue showed up again. I send I it to repair another time, and again, the issue showed up a few weeks later this time. At the beginning of the year I've requested an advanced exchange and it
    worked flawlessly with the new console, only to show up now again. I would like to know what's causing this issue and how I can stop it, again, as my warranty is gone now and I don't have much hope in sending it in for a payed repair. I've also tried all available
    troubleshooting tips to no avail. Some information and help would be great.

    I have an xbox 360 elite jasper. It is 3 years old, without warranty, but thanks for your reply.

    Oh, the game was in, so probably this is my issue. I am going to see if it still does it when I start it without and insert the game after startup.

    Ordinarily this is an issue with the console, the console may be old and have errors, or you turned your xbox while it was on. If you still have a warranty on your xbox, I recommend calling 1-800-4-MY-XBOX for support and send in your xbox for repairs, they
    will fix this issue and have your console back to you good as new within 14 days. Hope this helps! Good luck!

    Okay, I tested it and it still reads Assassin's Creed 3 much faster than the other games. And the dvd drive has a different noise too.
