Strange Connection Issues on Series X… going crazy.

I recently brought my series x from my parents house to my new house. At my new house, I had a series S that worked flawlessly for months. I hooked up the series X in it’s place and I’ve been having strange internet issues on the console.

An internet test on the console shows 97% signal, 250+ mbps download speeds and zero packet loss. I’ve also reset the console (kept games and apps), unplugged my router for a while, unplugged my Xbox for a while, nothing helps. And yes my NAT is wide open baby.

I can join parties but it takes me quite a while to connect and often times I’ll disconnect and have to rejoin. Sometimes I have a problem rejoining and I need to restart the console. Sometimes restarting doesn’t work and I’m able to sign in but not connect to a party with my buds.

On top of that, syncing cloud data almost always fails. Sometimes a percentage bar shows up, itll lock up for 5 minutes and then fail and display the message: We couldn't sync your data with the cloud just now Try syncing again or use this game or app offline. (Ox83860012)

Just looking for some help, I don’t understand how i used a series S for months without an issue in the same exact spot that my series X has now been moved to. I’ve reset all the settings, done all the usual stuff that’s in these threads and the console is still behaving strange. back at my parents for the weekend, hoping to try ANY suggestions you may have when I get back home.

Oh and lastly, I plugged the series s back in and it was perfectly fine.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties with your Xbox Series X console.

Please submit a report using the Report a Problem feature on your console. This will help the Xbox team investigate with a deeper understanding of the cause. As long as you don't exit the game and go to the dashboard, you can share a video clip of the error as well.

Please make sure to add a detailed description of the problem in the Description box.

However, if you feel there is a real issue with your Series X console, if it is under warranty you can go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices and start a repair request.

I've never had an issue with

my Onkyo receiver it's actually fixed my issue with my series x and lg c1 issue and my Onkyo receiver came out in 2017 and it supports 4k hdr and Dolby vision. All work perfect. The issue is a Xbox issue as my 360 and my ps3 and my series s never had an issue directly to the tv it's only with the series x and it's strange that you blame the tv when all other devices work but the series x.

That's strange, I Have Xbox 360, Xbox one Fat, Xbox one X and Xbox series X, just my One X had issues, but I replaced trough the out of warranty service and all of them are currently working

No problem and thank you for the additional information. You're correct, especially if this is happening with multiple controllers.

How about other external accessories, do you have any? If yes, kindly unplug all of them and perform a powercycle on your console.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
