Storm Island forces us to spend money for cars

Being Forced to Buy Cars on Storm Island is a scam. I spent $20 buying the Storm Island expansion. But now I need to spend another $20 to get a car for a certain race. Microsoft should be upfront with this instead of sucking us in. Totally disappointed.

Forza Horizon 2 Photo Rewards Stop at 260?

New thoery. There not enought to go to the next one. From calateor count. There 263 cars in the game. Unless there more cars with the storm island add-on that the XBOX store wasn't forth coming with it.

I can only assume he/she means you need to buy the car packs to get the better cars for the races,as the standard ones i find pretty slow and impossible to win a race on harder levels.

 

If that's what the OP meant - then I disagree. There is no need to purchase special cars just to win. The cars that come as a part of the game or part of the expansion pack do just fine for winning in these events.

 

All the cars I've bought have been perfectly adequate for all the races I've been in. I tune them and upgrade them to the max and I have no issues.

 

Could be talking about rivals events under notifications? Those are only suggestionsand are not required but if you want to complete it then yeah you need the DLC. This is only for certain rivals event and not all. To me they are just giving value to people
who have already purchased the DLC required for those particular events. I just ignore them.

 

It's all about the money and how to make more of it, that's just the way it is.
