    Hi. So a year ago i bought xbox live gold subsribtion. now after a year it wanted to renew but i didnt renew it. my region back then was czech republic. now after 2 months i bought a giftcrad for 12 months of gold. i have diferent region now (SLOVAKIA).
    and when i reddem it it sayd that i have to change my minecrosoft store region. i checked my subsribtions and there is the unrenewed membership i payed for a year ago. with my credit card. it says "waiting". and it is all in czech even though i changed ther
    region. what am i supposed to do? i also noticed when i buy backwards compatible 360 games it is in czech currency. xbox one games are in my currency(Euro). What am i supposed to do? Thank you for any help.

    Store region

    Hi Sliverin, Try the following to see if will help:

    1. Launch the Settings app

    2. Choose the Time & language option

    3. Choose Region & language

    4. Make sure “Australia” is the region that is set

    Have a surface pro3 and when I search the Xbox games store through the Xbox app, I get games which are not available in my region. If I try to purchase the title, I get and error to add billing information, go to the Australian Xbox store via the web and
    the game isn't even listed. Search via console and not there either. So I am now assuming it is showing the US Xbox store and not the AUS one.

    Is there a way to change this?

    Hi there,

    Remeeming errors can be caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check if your billing information is correct at
    http://billing.microsoft.com and also check
    http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues, these need to be sorted prior to being able to redeem codes.

    After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

    Also check that the Xbox Live account, the console and code all match region wise, using different regions for any of them cause issues too.

    I assume that your acocunt's region is not the one you suspect it to be, this can be checked here:
    Sign in to your Microsoft account

    If it's indeed wrong then you can change it, but this can only be done with certain requirements and might have consequences and only once every 3 months

    When you understand the consequences etc and you still want to change the region see this link for the steps: Sign in to your Microsoft account

    Keep in mind that changing can only be done once in every 3 months and it's advised to only use your actual region

    If you can't find anything wrong and it is still not working, best thing to do is to contact official Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at

    Unfortunately Ukraine is not a supported region. http://xbox.com/regions Setting your account region to a different location is not recommended and can cause issues with downloading content.

    That is why you don't order stuff not of your region

    If there is an ms store in your region you must contact that store in your region

    Not all xbox live regions are ms store supported
