    Hello! Just wanted to ask about gifting on the Microsoft Store on Xbox One? Since the new update i can't find the gift button, I'm trying to gift auric cells (dead by daylight) to a friend and can't see the option. Thanks in advance!

    Was this a Store or an Xbox gift card. Certain gift cards cannot be used in certain stores. Can you check the type of gift card it is please.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to gift any item to a friend.

    As per the article that covers
    help with giving digital games as gifts    , "virtual currencies can’t be sent as gifts."

    The only other alternative, in this scenario, would have to have him purchase the currency on his end, by sending him an

    Xbox gift card     instead

    I hope this was able to clear up any confusion this might have caused.
