    Storage wiped and disconnected


    My xbox360 was unplugged for a bit, went to power it back up and profiles were gone. Went to storage and it said unformatted. When I tried to connect to WiFi it said WiFi adaptor needed, never had that before. I can't download my profiles back either. I
    tried formatting the system and plugging in a usb to the system by advice of a friend. Still nothing other than instead of unformatted my storage reverted to normal, albeit still wiped clean. I've never had this issue before and this is the first time I've
    posted on the forums so if I've posted wrong, my bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Nope, but incase it does get wiped I have a Cloud Storage save for backup.

    Sorry to say but the answer is no.

    Longer answer is that 360 storage is only designed to be moved between 360 storage device. By moving the data to your PC you've essentially wiped the 'ties' between it and the console.

    You most certainly can wipe it. After it's wiped you put it in a PC, format it as a standard external hard drive, then put it in the xbox and format it as an xbox storage device.

    Sorry to say but the answer is no.

    If re-seating the HDD didn't fix the issue and a HDD is showing up in storage then your FAT was wiped and there is no way to recover the data.
