Discus and support Storage space in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My wife got me Assassins creed rogue for Christmas. Tried to play it. It said I needed more storage space.     Storage space


    My wife got me Assassins creed rogue for Christmas. Tried to play it. It said I needed more storage space. I bought a 500 gb tried to install game data and I still get a mssg saying "installation data could not be completed. Game data will be reinstalled"
    when I got the hard drive the Xbox had to update. Please let me know what the issue is and how to fix it. Thank you.

    If you have one you could also use an old HDD, I upgraded from an elite to a slim console, I kept the elites HDD and using the data transfer cable I'm able to swap saves around as and when required, it's been really handy for keeping my old saves and DLC
    that I don't use very often.

    Yes that is 1000% okay. However some games such as Halo 3 and original Xbox titles will require a proper hard drive to use.

    Wow okay, so it did'nt solve the problem but now atleast I understand why, the games were apparently never deleted from my xbox.

    Maybe now I can get on with actually playing the witcher 3 🙌
