Storage Black Screen

Does the black screen only happen in Black Ops 2? If so you should try clearing your console cache. If that doesn't help I would look for the update file for Black Ops 2 under settings>console settings>storage>all devices>Games and apps>Black Ops 2, locate
the update file and delete it. It will re-download the update and hopefully resolve the problem.

To start out, what type of storage device are you using to install the games, internal storage or external? Also, do you happen to have a second profile you can test on your Xbox One to see if there's any change with that? Let us know what's up

Its internal storage and I tried my brothers profile on my console and the same thing happened, just went to a black screen and crashed :/

- May I ask exactly what happens when you try to launch a game after fixing the black screen?

- Could you tell me how are you fixing the black screen?

- Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console?

People who claim to see black screens can't tell the difference between a real black screen and a lag black screen.

Just because you get a black screen, doesn't man that better players get black screens.

Maybe you get a black screen because you can't play as well as you think you can.

I've olny ever seen a black screen once and that was ages ago when the game was newly released.

343/Microsoft will detect black screens and ban them.

Black screens are only seen from your xbox's point of view.

This exact problem happened to me. I just updated and boom just black screen instead of home screen. I click report a problem and it goes to open the app then black screen. I put in a disk and loads up the game screen and then black screen.
