    Stopping update to play offline


    I have limited internet access and started a update on GTAV (which I was able to play fine offline) and now that the update has started I'm unable to play my game until it finishes. I want to know if I can stop the update without uninstalling the entire
    game. I just want to go back to being able to play offline until I get some more data to complete the update.

    COD:Advanced Warfare disk installaition is always stopping at 2,46 gb i tried in offline mode and installing without the update... need help ... fast !!

    Day one game updates not completing.

    Thanks yeah I had that problem too and found that solution. So now the game is installed off the disc but there's still an update to be downloaded and its stopping at 96% or so. CoD is stuck at 96% too. Guess I'll just play offline for now.

    I've tried going offline and it just gives me a warning saying that the installation had been stopped.

    Yes its an xbox1. i did install it offline then connected to do the update. then the update stops at 41%

    I understand that your offline update is continuously getting stuck at 86%? What exact console are we working with?

    Let us know!

    I would first start off by following the troubleshooting link for
    I need help with system updates on my Xbox One    .

    If for whatever reason that does not resolve the issue, I would recommend attempting a

    Soft factory console reset.

    Also, I would recommend attempting to update your console connected to your network / internet with an ethernet cable instead of your Wifi

    connection.
