    Our xbox account had no credit cards attached.

    However, my son (17) has spent a significant amount via Xbox live. He utilised his own debit card, name, email (different to main xbox live account email address) and billing address .

    He has learnt his lesson. However I was surprised that there where no checks by Microsoft on the age of the card holder!!

    It appears that Microsoft would have continued to take money from a 17 year minors account, with no flag raised to the Xbox live account email address

    With information being so readily available, surely it would be easy to check age? and flag to the Xbox live "main" email account any concerns.?

    The only times I feel nauseous while playing is when, and if, I go a long period without eating and if I play for an excessive amount of time without stopping. Food and short breaks are essential for me.

    An account is able to make online purchases only if it is set up as the account of a mature person since the beginning for a minor's account can't purchase online. This is something the service can't control for it's the data that the user has introduced
    which make the difference in the way the account is treated. It falls upon you as a parent to set up the minor's account and the parental control over such account.

    I have been playing xbox for 3 years and have received a total of about 10 minor suspensions. I can see this from my email dating back from 2019. Would you say 10 is an excessive amount.

    I understand that the enforcement team may or should be aware of this type of activity but is there no way I can private my account? Stop random bots from adding me as 7000+ is an excessive amount to just live with?
