stopping automatic game clips

im new to the One so still feeling things out. dont like game clips being save i didnt make, how do i stop that?

Game DVR Not Recording Anymore

It use to automatically record clips of my gameplay, for some reason it stopped recording?

Hardline clip recording

My x1 is automatically recording clips of gameplay. It recorded 50 something clips in a span of an hr and half. Shit is driving me nuts or am i the only one experiencing this? Anybody figure out a way to stop this?

under settings but do note.. they are not saved on your HDD but in the cloud so they will not take up any space in your system. Unless you have a data cap, I would not worry about them too much,

Stop them from recording in the first place (in settings). Gets annoying with 100s of unwanted automatic clips being recorded every week. (ie.fifa clips).

That fix also stops you from being able to use the Game DVR period. We should have the choice to disallow games automatically recording clips but still allow us to use the DVR manually. Choice, Microsoft. People like choice.

It can be turned OFF!

It can be set to record from 5 min to 30 seconds

It clearly says you have to save clips you want to keep!

Do not keep 3000 clips on your drive!

It records clips of something interesting automatically!

Xbox invites party people to BF4 games automaticaly so you dont have to!

I think Xbox One is lil bit too advanced for some people, get Nintendo or something it will keep things simple.

Every clip you create using game dvr or clips that are automatically recorded, your friends can see, but if you want to share your clip with the Xbox community you have to upload them, with the upload studio.
