    Stopped insider update previews on my Xbox One S - AND IT JUST FACTORY RESET!


    I was getting tired of having a new update every other day - so I unenrolled for insider updates through the hub application. A few minutes later, my console gave the update prompt, which I went through with. When the update finished, it took me back to the language select screen you get when you first set up the console. Went through the whole set up process and it’s all gone! My account, game data, everything was deleted from the console!

    It’s lucky for me I had everything backed up to the cloud/external drive, or I’d be totally screwed.

    There was no warning or indication this would happen, nor was there an option to go back. Please, look into this Microsoft, or provide an explanation as to why this happened.
