Stopped Destiny 2 update and game uninstalled with no warning

I have stopped updates on games before including D2 because they were taking a while to start. I have never had any issues doing this before. Online people were saying there should be a pop up that warns stopping the update will uninstall the game. I did
not get this pop up. Is this a known issue? Im using the one X with external HDD if that makes a difference.

Xbox Elite no longer vibrates in Destiny 2, can feel sluggish at times

First and foremost the vibrate function in Destiny 2 stopped working a few weeks ago, but still works in all other games. I am on the latest firmware, have changed batteries, changed settings in game, uninstalled/reinstalled the game but still no change.

In addition controller is starting to feel sluggish at time lately, even with high sensitivity setting.

I don't have a problem with downloading or installing. The game has been installed since it launched and it never uninstalled. I have cancelled updates in the past with this game because they were taking a long time to start and never did start. The problem
i'm having is the same other people are reporting. The issue happens when you cancel an update and the game is uninstalled without warning. I know I don't have problems with download or install as i'm downloading the game that was uninstalled for no reason
and with no warning.

 

If you cancel anything instead of pausing it you will lose the progress it had and needs to reinstall
