Stop Xbox live connecting when game loads.

If its a square capcom or ea or blizzard or any triple a rated game your achievements are connected to your said service like resident evil.net or metalgear etc

If it has dlc its usually connected to your online account

Offline is always an option but you restrict yourself on what you can do like loading purchased dlc

Really depends on your setup

If you set console to offline only and you are the home console then you dont need to connect to live

You wont have access ro dlc or achievements until you go online

And yes thats part of the achievements as they arent stored locally but online

If you had your console offline before and thats why you didnt see acheivements and yiu turned it on to sign in online that would be why

You dont see achievements you gained until online

And it can cause problems like syncing if you load an older save from online you would lose all your offline achievements since you would overwrite them

Your achievements are synced online also your version number or game savedata is loaded at this time from the online service and when the developer checks your game saves and to check your patch

If its a game that requires online service for multiplayer yes its mandatory

You can select offline mode as long as you are on your home console

But if you want achievements you do need to connect to live

The issue is he is getting into the game and its syncing to live

I have all the dlc on disk.

But if it is necessary for checking updates and saves then i can live with it.

Thanks for your answer.

It happens on all games, I don't play online multiplayer games, none of the games I play offer or support online multiplayer.

There is no offline mode option as the games ARE offline.

I believe it may have to do with the fact I signed up for a trial of game pass. I have cancelled that, so maybe when it ends the issue will stop.

I don't want achievements either, but i eventually managed to stop those popping up.

Sorry for the issue with connect to Xbox live. There could be a multitude of reasons why this comes up. So we will go on down the list of troubleshooting. Easiest is to power cycle the console and network hardware. This makes it so everything is fresh. Once
everything back up run both network and multiplayer test. Let us know what happens.
