Stop the bundling!

Destiny is coming up on a year since the actual release. This game would not be $60 at this point but it is because the game is not available for purchase without a bundle. That's their excuse to continue charging $60 all because they threw on a rather light
DLC pack for Vanguard and Emblem gear.

Maybe Microsoft can urge companies to stop doing this, but the best way to stop this is simply not buy their bundles and wait for a standard edition.

XBOX 1 Owners are getting the "Shaft!"

I don't feel shafted yet, I think bundling Titanfall for the same price was a good move by MS.

 

I loath the bundle only options. They are stupid and I always pass. Their loss not mine as there are a million other games to play. I'll give my money to someone else.

 

Activision don't give a crap, they aren't happy unless they're milking gamers. You only have to look at the same COD annually recycled, with the same recycled maps.

And before someone says it, I know it's not just Activision that are guilty of it.

 

Some people like buying bundles, but give us the option to. If we don't want to buy the DLC right off the bat allow us to buy the game on it's own and if we like the game, we'll buy the bundle.

 

Bundling options are fun... I like to wave at them as I pass by and spend my $ on an offering from competitors.

 

Blue that's awesome. There are quite a few games I've looked at buying but I couldn't unless I bought the bundle. Uurrgghh.

Not everyone has a Gamestop or a decent gaming retailer around us. I'd be more than happy to buy the CD but that's not an option. I usually order online but there are times I have to go digital and this kind of crap is just completely pointless money grubbing.

They lose a sale, I don't get the game and it makes me hate their company just a little more. I've bought bundles, sometimes they're great! But only after I bought the stand alone game and enjoyed it enough to get the DLC bundle.

 

And it makes checking out twitch streams from the store more difficult on some games like Metro 2033 & Dead Rising.

 

Yop,they could do a Destiny at $45-50...But at least they are not charging $ 80 (or more) for Destiny + first wave of DLCs....

I remember that Black Ops (Xbox 360) stayed over a year at $60 (without dlc)....

The content in Core Destiny, The Dark Below, and House Of Wolves is only worth $66.00 in my opinion.

I admit, Destiny pulled a fast one by making me buy the $40.00 season pass but considering the fact that I have spent over 1,100 hours and rising playing the game, I got WAY more than my money's worth in my $100.00 purchase LOL
