    STOP CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD!! I CAN'T REMOVE FROM MY ACCOUNT


    I paid for a year of Xbox Live on Dec 31 and have been trying to remove my credit card from my account every day! I tried online and in Xbox Live with no luck. In the process I have MULTIPLE charges on my card that were not ordered. The website CONSTANTLY
    gives error messages "This page isn't working" and "try again later". The chat is a waste of time. I asked for a phone number and the best I could get is a return phone call. I got my return call but it was more than two hours later and I was in bed. I honestly
    thought they closed and I would have to try again. I've never had such a difficult time trying to remove a credit card.

    You would think with the extra money they are getting from all of us (I have read other posts of unauthorized charges) they could hire more people to re-do the website or hire more people to handle phone calls.

    Mini-Survey: How do you purchase your digital content on Xbox Live?

    A mix of Credit Card and online gift cards. The Xbox Live marketplace is weird for me, it charges me tax when using a credit card directly, but doesn't charge me any tax when using my Microsoft account balance. So usually what I tend to do is always makes sure I have something in my account balance so when I use my credit card, it only subtracts what was left over after taking from the account, and this never includes tax.

    Auto Renewal Question

    If I remove my credit card from my console by going onto Manage Payment Options through my console then remove credit card, will this stop auto renewal?

    If your card is attached to an active subscription that has auto renew on you would have to sign into account.live.com go to services and subscriptions and turn off the auto renew then go into payment options on the website and it would then allow you to
    remove your credit card. you can also see the purchase history there on the website that will show you any charges made for that account.

    I too want to remove a credit card from my account...... the card has expired but is still getting charged and my bank is paying it (WTF) , i just want the card removed as my life has changed but i still want my account. Why cant we remove our credit card

    My Ultimate Game Pass expired in August 2021 but I still get a recurring charge monthly even though it says I have no subscription. Support hasn't helped at all.

    Unfortunately I do not have any open subscriptions or any family members that share or possess subscriptions with me. Also, the credit card that is charged monthly is not one of my saved credit cards. I removed all cards from my account, but it still gets charged. Amazingly, when there was still human beings working in support, I spoke with a customer service rep and she said everything was fine and the charges would stop. They did not. And the virtual assistant has been more of a hindrance than a helper.

    Same problem with me but i canceled my auto renewal last year and xbox live turned it back on to charge me without permission. Now my account is suspended and i can't remove my credit card... good thing my credit card expired before they charged me 60$ that
